In 2000, Nintendo released a new 32-bit portable Game Boy Advance gaming console with a wide color display (32,768 shades), a 32-bit processor running at 16.78 MHz, and a Z80 at 8 MHz. Game Boy Advance was first shown at Spaceworld in Tokyo on August 24, 2000. In Japan, the console went on sale on March 21, 2001, at a price of 9,800 yen (about $100). In the US, sales began much later.
The new console supported two-dimensional games that were released for earlier platforms. Most likely, Nintendo planned to make Game Boy Advance exclusively an arcade platform for 2D genres – that’s why it is compatible with cartridges for previous models (Game Boy and Game Boy Color) and is fully compatible with the Nintendo GameCube. Pro Skater is not a typical platformer – you’re on a skateboard and you don’t have to walk anymore. Instead of your actions, there is an impulse that needs to be tamed. Move only forward or backward, turn with a minimum radius. Acceleration depends on the slopes, and if you hit the wall, it will hurt. But this was enough for each player to create almost their own unique skating style.
First, the team made skating areas instead of tracks. But later they came up with a different concept: the essence of skateboarding is that the whole world is a skatepark. So, the locations became urban, and the player had the opportunity to do a wide variety of tricks, rolling along railings, stairs, roofs, improvised ramps, and fan boxes.
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
So, it’s 2035, Japan. Dracula has been at peace with the forces of the Belmonts, Alucard, and the priests of the Hakubei temple for 36 years now. Exchange student Soma Cruz, along with his girlfriend Mina Hakubei, is going to watch a total solar eclipse, but suddenly they find themselves in a mysterious castle and meet an equally mysterious stranger named Genius Aricado.

While Metroid Fusion is built on the base of Super Metroid, it feels completely different. There are clear briefings here, it is always clear where to go and what to do, dialogues and even special rooms that open the map have appeared. Much emphasis is placed on the storytelling and atmosphere of space horror.
